Biden said if the students could sacrifice so much for their country, "they too should do more".

 Biden offered the US's full support to the interim government of Bangladesh. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the Bangladesh government, on Tuesday met US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York. According to a press note from the Chief Adviser's Office, Biden offered the US's full support to the interim government of Bangladesh. The Nobel Peace Prize winner sought the US's cooperation in rebuilding Bangladesh while apprising Biden about how the students "rose against the tyranny of the previous government" and gave their lives to create the opportunity to rebuild Bangladesh, the press note read. According to the press note, Biden said if the students could sacrifice so much for their country, "they too should do more".   Hezbollah devices explode again in Lebanon.             17th Sept.2024 Recently, a series of explosions involving communication devices used by Hezbollah have caused chaos in Lebanon. These incidents began with the explosion of pagers on September 17, 2024, killing 12 people and injuring thousands. The next day, similar explosions occurred, this time involving walkie-talkies, resulting in at least 14 deaths and hundreds more injuries. Hezbollah blamed Israel for these attacks, alleging that the devices had been sabotaged​.             These explosions have heightened tensions between Hezbollah and Israel, with many fearing an escalation into full-scale conflict.   Mamata Banerjee on Monday announced that Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal will be removed from his post. On September 16, 2024, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the removal of Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal, following widespread protests by doctors demanding his resignation. The protests were sparked by the rape and murder of a 31-year-old medical student at RG Kar Medical College in August. The junior doctors demanded accountability for the mishandling of the investigation, particularly alleging negligence and corruption in the police's response.
